For a Piggie themed party for my then-2 year old, I knew exactly what I wanted to do!

This was cake concept I had been eyeing for a while. Who doesn’t want to eat a bunch of mud and the slop the piggies are bathing in??

I made dark chocolate sponge and frosted with chocolate buttercream. The sponge has espresso powder and boiling water in it so it gives it a deeper chocolate taste and the water I guess is what makes this cake so moist!? I layered the cake with chocolate buttercream and wrapped in KitKats tied up real nice with a cutie pink bow. The pig pen is then filled with a ganache mud pit and little fondant piggies taking a swim!

The piggie butts were obviously the most fun part of the sculpting!
